Freiluftkino Kreuzberg

For options like this one I love summer time. Imagine a beautiful green grass between interesting buildings, a huge screen, comfortable deck chairs, blankets (just in case), cheap popcorn and a good movie. I’m talking about a Freiluftkino Kreuzberg, a perfect spot for a quiet evening, especially with friends. You can come earlier with some good food and have a picnic that will be followed by a great projection. Movies are played through out the week, all in oryginal (english in most cases) with german subtitles. For evenings like this one movies are being created. For evenings like this one I love Berlin.

Freiluftkino Kreuzberg

Kevin is in Berlin

I met Kevin in Amsterdam. During the day he works at an ad agency, during the night he creates. He did something amazing. He took one month off at work and came to Berlin for an art residency, to focus on his art. For a month he will be gathering inspirations and drawing. For this purpose he organizes photo shoots, during which you can eat some snacks, or pizza or drink a beer and jump in front of a camera with an accompaniment of some good music. This is what the project is about – people in motion. I helped him a bit — I was the light operator, hahaha! It was crazy fun, but also, notably I did it for art.
If you’re curious how the drawings came out, visit Kevin’s blog.
