, Barcelona, Barcelona Guide, Fundació Joan Miró
I fell in love with places and views. But the thing is that I am a bit picky. Usually when I see something that was supposed to be breathtaking I keep asking myself “Seriously?”.
But look at this. Not only Fundació Joan Miró contains an amazing collection, but the building designed by Josep Lluís Sert is awesome. I want to live on it’s tarrace and wake up each day to the view of Barcelona.
If you’re in the area check out Running Fence document about Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s project.
What is also worth mentioning – you can get lost in Barcelona’s metro and end up on the other side of the city. I did it. Because some names of stations are pretty similar :) But when it happens you can find lovely places like this one and relex over a cup of coffee:

, Barcelona, Barcelona Guide, beautyful Barcelona, The View
I’ve climbed the hill after two glasses on vermut served by a friend. we were in hurry, as the sunset was almost there and we did not want to miss it. Step after step on a steep way and then I saw it. And the word stood still. At least for me. Because what I saw was beautiful.

138 acre of cementery located on a hill with a see view. It’s one of this places that you want to see in Barcelona. Beautiful, peaceful and full of an unique art. You will see it while driving from an airport to the city or in Almodovar’s movie. It is truly beautiful spot.

I feel blessed with my life, as I have opportunity to experience so many new things and places on my way. But the most important part of this all is Tomasz, who accompanies my life for over 8 years now. We got married very fast, without really knowing each other well, but with a feeling in our stomach, that we have something good together. All this years later I am pretty happy that I rushed, even though so many people thought it’s too fast and has small chances to survive. And here we are. After our wedding we’ve totally changed our life and I love what we have together. I love spending Christmas with just two of us, preparing together three meals after shopping like crazy for it, because it’s not that easy to get products for traditional polish meal abroad. I love buying a white table cloth and setting a minimalistic Christmas table that makes us so happy. And I even love not having a Christmas tree because I’d prefer a real one and we’ll be leaving Barcelona soon, so there’s no point, plus our cats would do anything to make their special toy out of it. Then I love that Tomasz likes to wander around the city with me to check out places I saw somewhere on the internet or heard about and need to see it by myself. This Christmas we were setting up a table for two in the morning, having a breakfast and then discovering Barcelona. This year I had perfect Christmas. Again.
On one of this days we went to Port Forum. We were supposed to spend there maximum an hour as it was raining, but instead we’ve been there till sunset. Maybe because of Christmas, but area was totally empty and we could experience the place just for ourselves. Walking in a rain and getting more excited with each step is a good way to spend Christmas.
