I fell in love with places and views. But the thing is that I am a bit picky. Usually when I see something that was supposed to be breathtaking I keep asking myself “Seriously?”.
But look at this. Not only Fundació Joan Miró contains an amazing collection, but the building designed by Josep Lluís Sert is awesome. I want to live on it’s tarrace and wake up each day to the view of Barcelona.
If you’re in the area check out Running Fence document about Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s project.
What is also worth mentioning – you can get lost in Barcelona’s metro and end up on the other side of the city. I did it. Because some names of stations are pretty similar :) But when it happens you can find lovely places like this one and relex over a cup of coffee:

I’ve climbed the hill after two glasses on vermut served by a friend. we were in hurry, as the sunset was almost there and we did not want to miss it. Step after step on a steep way and then I saw it. And the word stood still. At least for me. Because what I saw was beautiful.
Whenever I tell my parents that I’ll be visiting a foreign country, my mother says “Take same nice pictures, but you know nice ones, with you and Tomasz.” I think she makes a good point.
138 acre of cementery located on a hill with a see view. It’s one of this places that you want to see in Barcelona. Beautiful, peaceful and full of an unique art. You will see it while driving from an airport to the city or in Almodovar’s movie. It is truly beautiful spot.
